Eyelid Lift
Due to heredity, or to the natural aging process, some people will develop excess fat, skin, and even muscle around their eyes. This can cause droopiness in the upper eyelids, and puffiness in the lower eyelids. These developments may make people appear tired, sad, angry, or older than they feel. Consequently, by removing the excess fat, skin, and muscle, a more rested, youthful appearance is restored.
Following surgery, patients may experience temporarily blurred vision and some bruising around the eyes. Also, patients may not be able to read or watch television comfortably for a few days. This will pass relatively quickly, however, and patients should feel well enough to return to work within a week to ten days. |
