Botox, Juvederm,and Radiesse
Today there are several solutions available for people interested in enhancing the appearance of their skin in order to achieve a more vibrant, youthful look. These treatments may be used to fill folds, smooth away lines and even enhance lips,and cheek area all with virtually no downtime.
One popular option is Botox. Botox essentially acts as a paralyzing agent to the muscle that is contracting, and causing the wrinkle or groove. These injections are often made in the forehead region creases, the vertical grooves that form in between the eyebrows, and in the “crow’s feet” around the outer edges of the eyes. The smoothing effects generally last for three to four months and then need to be repeated.
Juvederm,is an injectable gel that replasces the HA your skin has lost over time. It brings back volume and smooths away facial wrinkles and folds. Juvederm has been known to last up to 8 months.
Radiesse, is a FDA approved dermal filler that is made with tiny calcium-based microspheres to form a scaffold to support and stimulate the growth of you own collagen. Radiesse is not used in the lips but can be used with great results in the nasolabial folds and deep wrinkles around the nose, mouth and the Cheek area.
